Autopilot 2D Panel, switch is missing no matter what I do

Featured Replies

Well, I am presently using the default 747-400 as a testbed for this autopilot panel, so it is redundant, but once it works without hitches I intend to put this on aircraft that have no autopilot that is working.By working I mean the aircraft.cfg have it, the gauges are there in the VC and CFG, but they are not usable.Anyways, my simple 2D panel that is like this:

[Window07]file=Autopilot.bmp  size_mm=592,82window_size_ratio=1.000  //position=0visible=0ident=MISC_POPUP_1window_size= 0.200, 0.125window_pos= 0.690, 0.600gauge00=Boeing747-400!Autothrottle Switch,  16,2,32,48gauge01=Boeing747-400!Flight Director Switch,  14,49,32,40gauge02=Boeing747-400!Autopilot IAS-Mach Switch,  48,4,40,40gauge03=Boeing747-400!Autopilot IAS-Mach Selector,  98,42,48,48gauge04=Boeing747-400!Autopilot IAS-Mach Window,  89,13,60,20gauge05=Boeing747-400!Autopilot Hdg Switch,  156,40,35,40gauge06=Boeing747-400!Autopilot Heading Selector,  191,38,93,56gauge07=Boeing747-400!Autopilot Heading Window,  197,14,60,20gauge08=Boeing747-400!Autopilot VS Switch,  299,40,40,40gauge09=Boeing747-400!Autopilot VS Selector,  370,8,48,72gauge10=Boeing747-400!Autopilot VS Window,  283,15,80,20gauge11=Boeing747-400!Autopilot Altitude Selector,  422,38,48,56gauge12=Boeing747-400!Autopilot Altitude Hold Switch,  470,38,40,40gauge13=Boeing747-400!Autopilot Altitude Window,  422,14,80,20gauge14=Boeing747-400!Autopilot Localizer Switch,  509,  1 ,40,40gauge15=Boeing747-400!Autopilot Approach Switch,  509,41,40,40gauge16=Boeing747-400!Autopilot Master Switch,  553,27,34,32gauge17=Boeing747-400!Autopilot Speed Switch,  47,45,40,40gauge18=Boeing747-400!Autopilot Nav Switch,  156,-1,40,40

All of it works, the position is removed since I have Eyefinity and that borks up everything and makes the panel useless.But the NAV Switch regardless of gauge number, never shows up in FSX.The background is a copy from the default autopilot area on the 747 so nothing special about that.Any tips to how I can crack this riddle?

As a possible solution try changing the 156,-1,40,40 placement and size to 156,1,40,40. I have found that FSX does not seem to like minus coordinates. Let us know if it works please. Bob.

Ah thank you, those coordinates solved the issue.
