June 26, 201114 yr VasFMC would be ideal, it communicate via WideFS to flightsim (FS9, FSX, X-plane with VasFMC plugin)If you mind to install FS on the laptop then you may use Wideview wich synchronize all running FS in different computers.RV See U in the cloud(s) Galleries @FlyEM Flying Ideas
June 26, 201114 yr That's covered here:http://forum.avsim.n...42#entry2002342and...http://fstools.weebly.com/forum.html... where the Saitek Panels Advanced Driver (SPAD) does indeed work perfectly on my networked laptop, using the radio, multipanel and switch panels attached to the laptop via a powered USB hub. June 27, 201114 yr DaveComing back on this having re-read your post, what do you mean by 'control dials' - do you want to run a third-party software instrument display on your laptop, or do you mean you want to attach some hardware (e.g. Saitek panels) to your laptop? Either way, you need Simconnect and/or WideFS and the above thread links give you the relevent information to enable you to configure file sharing in Wondows XP, and installing Simconnect on your main and laptop computers.
