FSX Menu Bar - Lost all Addons List

Featured Replies

For some reason the list of addons which usually shows up under the Addons menu has disappeared so I no longer have access to things like Instant Scenery etc.Does anyone have a clue why this would happen and how to fix?I checked my dll.xml and they all show, properly. <Launch.Addon> <Name>Instant Scenery</Name> <Disabled>False</Disabled> <ManualLoad>False</ManualLoad> <Path>C:\Program Files (x86)\Instant Scenery 2\InstantSceneryFSX.dll</Path> </Launch.Addon>The most recent thing of significance I did was purchase install and update Rise of Flight, Iron Cross Edition. I know it also updated or attempted to install various other things such as MS VC++2005 Redistributable, NET 3.5 PS1 (even though I have 4 installed), Direct X. Any chance that this is what screwed things up?

Is your <Path> entry split in the DLL.xml file or is that the forum's formatting? <Launch.Addon> <Name>Instant Scenery</Name> <Disabled>False</Disabled> <ManualLoad>False</ManualLoad> <Path>F:\Scenmod\Object placement\Instant Scenery\InstantSceneryFSX.dll</Path> </Launch.Addon>That's how mine reads.

OH I see what you mean, its the forum formatting, the two lines should be one string.I went into the root directory and program and clicked on ModuleInstaller.exe and it reinstalled the lines in my dll and then made the link to the registry. The lines are the same.So perhaps somehow everything has become delinked to my registry. I don't know how that could happen.
