Hi After recently reinstalling FS9 i have a problem in as much as ASE will down load all the weather but when i click the fly now button nothing happens, the ASE front page will just remain on my desktop, forcing me to start FS9 manually but then only to find that no weather has been imported anyway, use it with FSX and there is no problem. On both sims i have the latest version of FSUIPC installed and registered. Cheers Shaun

Hi JimThe answer to your first question is yes, FS9 mode is selected. What happens ifI start ASE from its icon and FS9 from its, ASE will go through all the initialisation process but won't start FS9, when I click on the FS9 icon that will start but no weather has been imported, so basically I have got the two programmes running but not talking to each other, by changing from FS9 mode to FSX mode ASE will restart, I click the fly now button and FSX starts. In the FS9 mode when I click the fly now button for a brief second I have a empty black window appear, a window similar to the command prompt window, this will flash on screen and then go. Tonight when I got in from work I uninstalled and reinstalled but still I have the same problems.Thanks Shaun

Hi,No, I don't want you to use the Fly Now icon at all. I want you to start ASE from the ASE icon and then FS from the FS icon.Another thing that may be happening is that your Windows registry might have one path for your old FS9 install and not your new path. For that you should use the Flight1 Registry Repair tool.Anytime you uninstall ASE you must also manually uninstall the 2 ASE folders that are left behind, one in the install path and the other in your Application Data folder.

Hi Jim I have done as you asked, started both using only their own icons but ASE still does not see FS9, i ran the registry tool but nothing. I think i might uninstall every thing and start agian, sometimes it's the only way. It's just strange that it sees FSX ok, just don't know what is diffirent. Thanks Shaun
