Greetings,After getting a new machine which will really runs FSX, I purchased "Briefing Time" (real fine design and fun flying). Well, I see over at FlightSIM a new version was released.I purchased Briefing Time 6th Ed.on May 29. Is there any way of getting the 7th ed. without another purchase? Hi Arthur. I’m sorry that, for the first time since we launched BT back in FS2002, it is not possible to issue a free update for this version. The reason is that so many components (i.e. the panel, gauges, air file, model, acft.cfg, etc.) have been changed and upgraded in v7 that such an update patch would be a complete flying model. We would never be able to make any money for the museum if we issued that!But the deal I have been making with anyone who inquired is this: If you make a small donation (I leave the amount up to your generosity) to the P-61 Restoration Fund, then let me know which FS version you want, I will be happy to send you the download link for version7. Please contact me at maam-sim@maam.org.The minimum donation is $5, which exactly covers the difference in price between the old and new version of the package.
