FSX and recording?

Featured Replies

I want to make FSX videos, and I want to record with smooth fps, in both the game and the recording. I do sort of care about a "fine" fps though (around 20-30fps?)My current specs:Phenom II 1090T stocknVidia9400GT (upgrade to 6950 in near future)890GPA-UD3H Mobo4Gb 1333Mhz RAM CL9I just want to know whether better RAM, overclocking the processor or anything else could help gather a smoother fps at around 20-30fps? My friend has a smooth 40fps on his 6950 and 1055T, but I don't know if it would be good for recording?Could someone please enlighten me on this?Any help appreciated.

I have no experience with this, but I think what people to is to use FSRecorder to record the flight, then play it back in FSX as slow as you can while FRAPS captures the video. Finally edit the video to speed it up back to it's normal rate
