Hi all I have recently discovered how to open all 4 cabin doors in the default 737. I would like however to be able to open each door separately, and not the rear passenger and service doors at the same time with SHIFT-E-3 What tweaks do I need to make to open each cabin door with a separate key command? Thanks very much

It's a lot cheaper, and doesn't use lights to identify movement. It's $70/£40-£45 compared to the $119.99/£100 TrackIR, and freetrack involves making your own tracker, and spending/ripping apart a webcam, which could be around $30/£30 or so, just to make it good. With this, you can control your whole computer with it, so you might have face recognition, and have a virtual cockpit at your fingertips, instead of your mouse pointer. EDIT: would you spend $50,000 on a simulator, or look stupid, but spend $70 instead? That's the difference this could make. It wouldn't feel right, but it's better than wasting $50,000 on a simulator. You could buy yourself lessons and probably a plane too with that!! The only problem with hardware rather than virtualware Is the fact that everyone looks at the simulator Market and expects 500x the amount it should be. A flight yoke costs about £120 here, with the throttle quadrant. Wouldn't it be more fun If we could have a more realistic experience for a margin of the price others demand? Sorry if this is more of a rant, I'm just looking forward to this! Since I found out about it on monday, I've thought my dream for realism, and simplicity has come true.

Ok, so I read up on this yesterday, and it could be quite good for simulation. It's not intended as a replacement of a mouse or keyboard. it demonstrates in 2 games, how it can be used, and it could have face recognition. If it will, would it make it better than TrackIR? Video demonstrating it here: It's not out until Q4 2012, so we have ages to wait, but It would be really cool, considering it's the size of a flash drive/pen drive!! What do you think about this?

Awh that's really kind, I'm touched. I'm stuck to think how I could possibly have messed the PMDG up so I am curious to know if anyone else has the same problem as me. I know one other person has mentioned this although they said updates fixed this. To clarify, what updates have there been?I have installed all up to SP1c I think.

Hi, I've been trying to head over to Dusseldorf EDDL and the CLN8R works the best for the route. I have installed all the updates etc but can't get it fixed at all. Could a crash during loading the SID have messed it up?

Hello there. As I am still having the same problem, I would like to ask if the EGSS CLN8R SID problem is applicable to everyone. When I select the SID, it crashes fsx and I have to use task manager to close it. I have updated my AIRAC data and installed all the updates I can find for the 737, and I am still having the problem. Help much appreciatedThanks

Please somebody. What could have gone wrong? I go in and out of Stansted regularly and would like to get the SID working.Service Packs and latest NaviGraphs installed

Hello there. In the 737 when engaging the VNAV below 10,000 ft the aircraft can climb far to rapidly initially and then steady out. Is it possible to set a maximum climb rate within the fmc to ensure VNAV doesn't exceed 3000 fpm ^ ?

Hi there, in the 737 selecting the CLN8R SID from EGSS the 737 crashes and makes fsx unresponsive. No idea what it is, and only happens with this SID. I have installed the update and initial hotfix and no joy. Any help would be appreciated, thanks

This may helpIt's related to a buggy fuel temperature. You'll get a HYD overheat when the fuel temperature is high off the gauge, and this happens when you load a panel state from the FMC menu.You can fix it in about 2 minutes without starting from cold and dark and losing your panel state. Just change the fuel temperature manually in the panel state:Go to your FSX folderPMDGPMDG 737 NGXPanelState, and find the panel state you want with extension .sav. For example my panel state is call LAST so I find LAST.sav. Open up the sav file with notepad and scroll down to the [FuelSystem.0], or use Find (CTRL+F) to find "Fuel Temp=". Most likely you have a negative value (eg, Fuel Temp=-587). Change it to 1647, save the file, and reload the panel state from the FMC. Your fuel temperature should now be around 20C, and the HYD overheat cleared.All of this can be done while FSX is running.

Hello, I have found how to add VHHX to the NavData, but I am lacking SIDS/STARS for the airport. Is there a download to install these, or can you add SIDS/STARS manually? I have tried all links but none of them work. Thanks

Thank you for the feecback from PMDG. My problem I thought was that the idle was far to high for the landing. My throttle was idling at around 39% with gear down and A/I off. I felt this was to high, and with a re-install for some odd reason, the throttle now idles at around 35% with gear and flaps down. Thanks for your help, and I'll have a look through the manuals.

Yeah I've worked that out. Thanks, and yes I was to blind to see the REV text on the EICAS, oopsies! Thanks for your help, I'm gonna check it out now to see if the re-install did anything. Fingers crossed ... :)
