March 15, 201214 yr Hello there. As I am still having the same problem, I would like to ask if the EGSS CLN8R SID problem is applicable to everyone. When I select the SID, it crashes fsx and I have to use task manager to close it. I have updated my AIRAC data and installed all the updates I can find for the 737, and I am still having the problem. March 15, 201214 yr Author Hi, I've been trying to head over to Dusseldorf EDDL and the CLN8R works the best for the route. I have installed all the updates etc but can't get it fixed at all. Could a crash during loading the SID have messed it up? Ben

March 15, 201214 yr HiTo see if it is your route or SID which is the issue, try this alternative route and report back. If you publish your original route that crashed I will try and fly it and report the results.This will not happen immediately as it is a when I get time issue. March 16, 201214 yr HiyaJust successfully completed the flight using your route, so that is not your problem, there are many things to check.I flew this with no weather program, default airports, and my airac cycle was out of date, finished early March, also read that the highmem fix may help you, I put it on my very old spec pc, but not sure what it does?regardsJohn Calleja John Calleja
March 16, 201214 yr Interesting to hear, it could be a scenery problem. I'm having it too with UK 2000 scenery. I'll have a play around to see what I can do to fix it. You're not alone
March 17, 201214 yr I've just done a quick test of the CLN8R departure and I didn't have a crash. Although I did notice that the altitude on the RTE page for fix XIGAR shows as 3986, where as the next altitude is 3000A for CLN28I very much doubt that this is the cause of your problem. David R. Are you selecting the runway first, then selecting the sid next? or visa versa?
