October 5, 200223 yr I have 2 images of a Beech 1900D checklist that I scanned to my Hard Drive, one is 20.6 MB, and the other is 24.2 MB. My question is, how do I get them to everyone? Jim
October 5, 200223 yr Well, the first thing that I would do is run them through a graphics program like Paint Shop Pro or Photoshop and try and reduce the size of the images to something more managable. You should be able to convert them to a relativley small size (kb wise) JPEG or GIF, and then upload them to the AVSIM library. Those would be cool to have, especially since the 1900 is one of my favorite FS2002 aircraft to fly.Tim13
October 5, 200223 yr I take it you have several pages for this checklist. The best thing would be to zip up the pages into one file and upload that to the file library. Just be sure to be specific about what they are in your text to the file managers. If they are real checklists, I would suggest putting them in the Misc. category as they aren't specific to any flightsim. If you've never uploaded to our file library before and cannot see how to do that, I can help with that. But you just need to go to our file library and there is an upload button. Just follow the instructions, it should be fairly easy.
October 6, 200223 yr I followed all instructions, and when I hit the (I want to upload the file above) button, the progress bar slowly went to the right, and nothing else happened. Jim
October 6, 200223 yr Author Thanks for the great checklists! Just a quick tip, though. Next time try saving it as a JPEG. By saving the first page as a jpeg, it went from 21 megs down to 1.5! ;) And it took the 767 directory from 1.37 GB :-eek to 67 MB.Matt Matt KaprockiFor fastest support, please submit a ticket at http://support.precisionmanuals.com
