CANT save the actual PANEL state

Featured Replies

Hello. I know this is a boring topic but it has to be asked!I have eventually figured out how to save the panel statein the PMDG save .... (through a download in the PMDG [miscellaneous] website).OK great.....that works fine now and I can, so call, "save" a panel state, but......when I do save a panel state and reload it again it does not load my settings as before (i,e the FMS or ND for eg!!) Do you know what I mean. Im sure its to do with admin rights but it really is confusing me!!! Im pretty confident my FSX is running with admin rights and I always load the PMDG load manager with admin rights....believe me...it all seems to run great until I try to reload the flight where I left off...Ive googled everywhere for an answer and admin rights always seem to come to the question.Im using Vista 32 with a very capable computer!I know this question seems to be asked a lot but I need an answer...just cant figure it out myself, and I really have tried. thank you. DAVE

Hi DaveI think you don't have to save the panel state when you want to save the whole flight. You can use the default FSX facility to save the flight for instance named "xyz". When you want to reload that flight you start the fsx and open the default plane above the default airport. Then load the "xyz" flight. After intalising load the panelstate wich was saved under "xyz" automaticly the flight bevore. Then you should find your MD 11 like you left it bevore. Only the landinglights aren't reloaded exactly. ;-)Best regardsJonathan
