Just discovered footage of a 206 doing aerobatics on an old DVDThis guy performed aileron rolls with partially extended flaps.Which means that the IAD can't be very high, most probably in the vicinity of 110ktsI timed the aileron roll and....the roll rate of 90deg/sec Mustang92 quoted for the 210 is correct!That's really quick, so my question is:Are the 172s 182s etc... so much different from the 206/210?Furthermore after spending an hour at youtube I found out that even the Rockwell Commander 114 has a roll rate of close to 80deg/sec.Even twins like the Cessna 310 and the Commander 500 have a roll rate of 90deg/sec.I'd say you can expect a rather lively 337 ;)

That's why I'm surprised that mustang92 states that the rollrate gets as high as 90deg/sec @ 120kts....not even a highly maneuverable WWII Bf109 could achive that.

Well. What I think is that everyone types too fast. And clicks and quotes and pays no attention to what they're doin'. It seems to me that we're accusing each other instead of learning from each other. Where does that come from? It' s a nonsense and of no use, wouldn't you agree?Bernt Stolle is one of the best people around when it comes to curiousity and research and finding a way to make the airplanes that we pretend to fly "feel" as slick as possible. I don't think that there were any "mistakes" made, quite the reverse. I applaud Bern't's integrity and would like to ask if anyone else that you can name has actually spent the time to question himself and then say, hey, I was wrong, that opens up some other questions, let's look at this again, maybe if we try this,...C'mon, ya know what I mean. I can't think of anyone else, cats. I'm just a FNG, so what do I know, but I'm looking forward to the 337. (I still fly Bernt's 185, a story some of you will remember).Best to all,Fritz

I totally agree with you about Bernt Stolle, he's been very helpfull here, on the other hand some people just seam to want to create trouble apart from being very intollerant! I make mistakes and I'm here to learn from them just like everyone else is.A forum is a place where anyone should be free to speak without being attacked for something they said as long as it isn't offensive of course or intollerant; most of the times thats the way it is for me but every now and then you get the odd case which makes the overall forum experience a lot less enjoyable and certainly not a valuable resource for the forum!!!
