Saitek Pedals Not Showing Up

Featured Replies

I just downloaded and installed LINDA. After I started the program I see my three "joysticks" in the box at the top (VRInsight Yoke, GF TQ6 and Saitek Pedals) however only the yoke and TQ6 show up below -- see screen shot). Do I have to load this manually (the LINDA manual says it does it automatically).Alangallery_21337_10_57315.jpg

Alan,LINDA doesn't show Saitek pedals unit because it doesn't have any buttons that could be assigned. LINDA doesn't work with axes, only buttons could be programmed.ps.Moving thread to the Support forum.

ArtemThat doesn't make sense. The yoke has axis only. The GF TQ6 has axis only. Joysticks by their very nature have axis (agreed they have buttons too).Alan

From the driver's point of view both of your yoke and throttle DO HAVE buttons. LINDA doesn't count how many buttons/switches do you have physically available on your devices, it counts how many of them reported by device through the HID protocol. Yoke reports about 31 buttons available (though you don't have them on your device in real). Same for the throttle.Anyway, why do you need LINDA if you don't have any buttons available on your devices? LINDA allows assignments only for buttons, not axes.

Ah, I didn't realize that. I saw the yoke icon and thought that it would control the axis. I guess as I'm using FSUIPC for Axis then I don't need LINDA. Guess I should have read up more huh? Batting%20Eyelashes.gifAlan
