July 17, 201114 yr Hi.I have downloaded fsx_lights.zip by Michael Swannick from the Avsim library and they work perfectly. However the taxiway lights seem to be too small. As you can see in the picture they're extremely tiny. In a jet they're practically invisible from the cockpit. Is there a way to increase their size by increasing the relevant image in the halo.bmp file?

I could not see any lights in the photo you included.Best regards,Jim

Just go to your FSX.cfg file and adjust the following entries.RUNWAY_LIGHTS_APPROACH_SCALAR=1.9 RUNWAY_LIGHTS_STROBE_SCALAR=1.5 RUNWAY_LIGHTS_SURFACE_SCALAR=3.2 RUNWAY_LIGHTS_VASI_SCALAR=2.60 by increasing the values the brighter they will be be. by decreasing the values the more they will dimm. You will have to play around with the settings.. so as a matter of fact you could have kept the FSX halo file and just adjusted it here to make them smaller/less bright.the taxi lights will be the following entryRUNWAY_LIGHTS_SURFACE_SCALAR=3.2.... but looking at your photo I doubt you will get it much brighter because that taxilight is awesome small, but give t a try anyway.. you might be lucky
July 17, 201114 yr Author Thanks. I'll try that. I downloaded the textures cause ImagineSim's WSSS lights are too bright and these seem to give the perfect balance between WSSS and the default airports in terms of brightness.
