FSX Cold and dark... Not how to set it, but fixing it.

Featured Replies

Well cold and dark or flight settings in general have been borked ever since I installed Air Hauler, whatever that did to FSX or something have screwed up for non default FSX aircraft. For an instance, the CaptainSim 757 keeps complaining about Pitot failures on all systems, as well as low hydraulic reservoir, the latter I have absolutly zero control over and cannot refill so there is a setting somewhere that gets changed.PMDG 747 that we all know also goes haywire, if you are in the default 747, started up and running normally (No errors) on the runway and change to the PMDG, the results are close to "catastrophic" the engines instantly shut down and it goes in a somewhat cold and dark right away, but alas it doesn't have any strange oil levels to deal with so it can be restarted.Well I do not mind starting cold and dark, but I prefer it to only be an engine start, any way to check and force these settings to be on by default?

Load the default Trike flight and save it as the default - this will reset variables. Then, exit FSX and restart - enter the flight - land - shut down the Trike and switch a/c - now set it up the way you want - save flight as default.
