July 21, 201114 yr I just purchased and installed the Wilco CRJ volume 1, but I haven't been able to fly it because FS9 suddenly shuts down without notice before I can even get the pane started. It consistently happens when I open FSUIPC and select one of the tabs to set up buttons and keys for the aircraft. FS9 immediately shuts down after I select one of the tabs (i.e. no warning or error message, program just ends and I'm back to my desktop screen). It has also happened when I selected the aircraft in the create a flight option on the FS9 main menu, and when pressing buttons or clicking on the PFD or MFD, whether in 2D or VC cockpit view. It happens with both the CRJ200 and 700. I tried reinstalling and that didn't help. I have other add-ons including the Feeltehre ERJ 145v2 and have zero problems with those aircraft. :Thinking:I run FS9 on an iMac 2.66 GHz via Bootcamp, Windows XP 34-bit, Radeon 2600 HP graphics, 4 GB RAM, 1TB HDD.Any ideas and solutions is much appreciated!Todd Regards, Todd Harrell Computer: i7 3770k @ 4.6 GHz, 16 GB DDR3 RAM, GTX 1070 GPU, 750W PSU, 250 GB SSD (Win 7), 500 GB SSD (P3D), 2 x 1TB HDD, 28-inch Viewsonic 1080p monitor Sim: P3Dv3
July 22, 201114 yr Author addendum: I tried starting FS9 with the default cessna (everything off except master avionics switch) then switching to the CRJ to see if that works. I still get FS shut down to desktop when I go to select the CRJ. Interestingly, I also get a shut down to desktop if I try to select any other aircraft after loading the cessna first. When I start FS9 and select the ERJ145v2, everything works just fine.
