I have just about finished my very first scenery project (freeware), but it has taken me so long to learn the basics, that I have not been able to learn about AFCAD/AI aircraft, but I think that my scenery really needs this to add that "extra bit of something".Is there anyone out there (in our FS family) that could possibly provide me with AI aircraft and possibly even static aircraft that could be used in my addon project? If you could help, please look first at my site, http// capncolwa21.mysite.freeserve.com to see what my scenery looks like (I will be updating it very shortly). If anyone is interested, please contact me as I would like to contribute to the Avsim library because I have gained so much in the past few years. It is my way of saying thank you to everyone who has provided such quality products for free. Best wishes to everyone and a very merry christmas to all.Colin

You could try asking over in the AFCAD forum at ttp://www.flightsimmer.comThere's lots of AFCAD Dept. members there, someone will probably help you out.Matt

ColinI have tried to look at your website but the link doesn't work :-( David

Colin,Your project is looking good! I perused the screenshots on your site -- very nice. One thing you might look at as far as adding static aircraft to your scenery goes is using the new information in the BGLComp SDK to place the stock AI aircraft as statics. You can also create a few flight plans and an AFCAD file for each of your airport very quickly and easily. If you've gotten this far, AFCAD should prove remarkably easy by comparison to some of the other things you've learned! However, I'd also understand if you just can't handle learning one more thing right now. Scenery design is deceptively complex; more so than many people realize. If you don't feel up to learning about AFCAD and compiling flight plans, I'd bet some enterprising souls here would be happy to help out. I'd love to pitch in, but I've got my own project releasing next week and it's got me a bit snowed under with last minute details. If you can wait until after Christmas, send me an email and I'll try to give you a hand.thanks,

BillThanks for your comments, I have just downloaded the new bgl compiler but have not yet had time to do anything with it (I have also got the afcad as well). I am trying to get my scenery finished by christmas but it is looking more unlikely now as I keep finding things I want to add or change, hence the reason for my request.I hope that I can learn how to use these other tools and maybe I will, but at the moment I am just a little overwhelmed with it all. Thanks for the offer and good luck with your own project, maybe I will contact you in the new year, but with any luck I won't need to.Thanks againCoiln
