August 7, 201114 yr Yes, the EFIS/MCP hardware is nice to have, but not essential. The important thing is to understand how the aircraft systems all work. With pay-craft you will see you can handle them very well with the VC knobs and buttons with a mouse! Cheers, - jahman.
