Free Ford Tri-Motor Textures

Featured Replies

Hi Good People,The Ford Tri-Motor project I am working on is bubbling along at a great rate.  Now 180 FREE textures available for this old Default Microsoft Aircraft.   She is cursed with some serious texture mapping issues in regards to Mirror mappings but I have tried to make it work for me instead of letting it restrict me.The results (see pics below) is a collection of Fact, Fiction and Fantasy - all for fun flying and your enjoyment - FREE64-1.jpg64-2.jpg64-3.jpgFeel free to pop on over to my site - http://www.gjsmith.net - hit the Catalogue Button and scroll down to the Ford Tri-Motor - enjoy them and anything else on my site. :)Happy Simming to all.

Thanks for your work on these, Garry; I'll be downloading them posthaste! Really love flying the old Ford pelican.

Your Welcome Mate,I hope you and others enjoy them - there is such a broad range of Fact, Fiction and Fun liveries in the batch available that I am sure that they will give some new life to the old Ford Tri-Motor. I have heard that there is a methodolgy of migrating the Default Ford Tri-Motor to FSX and if people have that model in FSX then these textures will work for that aircraft as well.I tried copying my FS2004 default Ford Tri-Motor in total to FSX into the air plane directory - and it seemed to work just fine - bear in mind I am not an FS tech head so many subtle things might or might not work. Just an experiment by me and it seemed to work OK.Regards and happy simming.
