FS2002 and multiplayer problems.

Featured Replies

my friend and me are trying to fly online by connecting to each others computer directly in multiplayer. Now the past month or two we had nothing else than problems :first there were connection problems :he changed OS to Windows XP and reinstalled everything.we are using teamspeak an FSHostSpy.Now his problem :when he goes online he cannot control his aircraft: it goes up and down, sinks into the ground etc... : it is like his joystick is broken. After reinstallation of FS2002 everything is fine, but the moment we go online he has no control over the a/c, even afterwords when not flying online. After reinstall everything is back to normal.we are hopeless and have no clue to what is happening. Is there somebody who can help us?http://www.hifisim.com/images/as2004betateam.jpgPatrick/EBBR

Did your friend also install the drivers for the MOBO controller chips, i.e., Intel, VIA, Sis, AMD, ALi after the OS installation? Is the joystick a Microsoft product or other? If other, what drivers were installed, are there updated drivers? How about a USB filter for VIA USB chips? I would also recommend reinstalling directx9.0b and other Windows updates from Microsoft Windows Update site.Visit http://www.microsoft.com/games/flightsimulator/ support item, then review the three support areas in the middle of the page for help.W.
