December 19, 200322 yr Hi IanIs the dashboard all black with no gauges or the outside view looking forward? If the dashboard is all black I would think it has something to do with the plane your using or your gauge file. Maybe uninstall FS and reinstall it.???If it's the front outside view thats black, go to the menu and click on views, under views select cockpit view. Check the view options also and make sure that look ahead is selected and the cockpit view is selected.I think that's the menu options, I'm at work and trying to remember it.Hope this helpsDanny
December 19, 200322 yr That will happen to me if I have anti-aliasing set to anything lower than 4 on my video card settings. I would go to your desktop, change the AA settings around, I think you may find the cause of your problem! Hope this helps......Harry

December 20, 200322 yr Check to see what MOBO controller chips you have, i.e., Intel, VIA, SiS, AMD, ALi. Open device manager, system devices and search for:Intel CPU to AGP ControllerVIA CPU to AGP Controlleretc.Once you know the MOBO controller chips manufacturer, search their website for updated drivers and install them. Next, uninstall the graphics adapter drivers, then reinstall after a reboot. Use DirectX diagnostic, Press Start, Run..., type dxdiag, OK. Let the diagnostic stabilize, then test your graphics adapter. Ensure the directdraw, direct3d, and AGP accelerator are enabled.W. Sieffert Bill Sieffert
December 20, 200322 yr Author Don't shout, but you haven't got the panel switched off have you?Try shift 1, which usually toggles the panel on and off.....
