My aim is to eventually get rid of the keyboard and mouse. However it seems as if in the default FSX aircraft not all of the functions can be programed. For instance in the Bombardier Citation I can program two buttons on my GF-P8 module through FSUIPC to power up the left and right engine but I cannot program the left and right engine coils -- I have to click on the button on the engine panel. If I hover my cursor over the button it says IGN COIL (ON or OFF) so why isn't there a FSX function for that button?Do I have to but add on aircraft to get full program functionality?ThanksAlan

Well Linda didn't really help -- tried to get a button push to register but it wouldn't (I'm probably doing it wrong). I went back into FSUIPC and found a function for TOGGLE_IGN so I programmed that and it turns on the coils for both engines (but not off so don't know why the "toggle" function doesn't work but I can live with it). Now I found a function called MASTER_ALTERNATOR, which turns on the left and right generator but the next press of the button alternates between the right and left alternators and another press of the button turns both on (?).Still playing around with it but an still questioning whether an add-on aircraft will be the way to go if I can program all the functions. FSUIPC can emulate key strokes so it the add-ons have key strokes for all their functions I can live with it.Alan
