I have Directx 9.0a installed -- when I run DXDIAG, I have only one page called SOUND -- but my friend has 2 called Sound1 and Sound2. I have also found that others have this as well.Could anybody possibly this explain for me.Thanks Barry

I believe it has to do with what you have installed on your computer. I have up to Sound 5. It shows stuff associated with my sound card, the onboard sound on the motherboard (which I don't use) and various other things that went with my old voice modem (I guess I should get rid ouf that stuff. I haven't used a dialup modem in years. LOL )
