ATI Users.. Cat 3.10 based Omega Drivers released

Featured Replies

Well, that was a nightmare!Went over to driverheaven to d/l. Of course they were being hammered, but I persevered. Installed the Omega 3.10's, and I thought the box of bits was going to have a heart attack. The install went fine, but once in the sim all I saw was stuttering. Big time stuttering!! Set the new drivers up the exact same way I do for all Omegas. Clearly, my system doesn't get along with them.Back to the 2.4.96c's for me. They work perfectly on my system. To top it all off, while downloading all I got was one nasty pop-up after another. Had to use task manager to shut them down. Then once I went into my browser it had been hijacked by some porn site.Cheers,

I had no problems at all...no thats not right, I had to install the drivers manually (pointing the hardware manager to the omega drivers). However they work like a charm. I didn't get them from driverhaven, btw. Only got 0.1k there. At one of the other sites listed, i got 90k...-Daniel

Any performance reports? :)

Aquamark3 = 37410 which is about the same as with the CAT 3.10s. PC mk 04 also not significantly different. I have to admit, that I like the Omega Visual quality a little better at first look; very subjective of course.Ed GreenKCLT

Performance on my system appears to be noticable better than with previous drivers. Same settings, I get 5 fps more, texture appears to load faster (Real Germany photo real). I am satisfied with these drivers.Best,Michael
