ASE was a perfect, fully automatic, installation on my wireless networked system.Win7-64 server (FS9.1/FSX-SP2), WinVista-32 workstation (ASE/FSUIPC-Wide). ASE installer found the server and did all the work. All I had to do was to put the path to ASE into the FSUIPC Wide ini file. Then I told FSBuild where ASE was and now flight plans are using weather data. Needless to say, I was very impressed.
