Important Updates and Safety Briefing

Since everyone appears to be waiting for NGX with excitement (like me) I could suggest some great reading on safety issues, right before you ride that 737NG. BEA interim report on AF447-contains some of the best FDR analysis you will ever see in an accident report!http://www.bea.aero/docspa/2009/f-cp090601e3.en/pdf/f-cp090601e3.en.pdf EASA Annual Safety Review:Loss of control in flight is the biggest killer, so be careful with that NGX when you get it.http://www.easa.eu.int/communications/docs/annual-safety-review/2010/EASA-Annual-Safety-Review-2010.pdf For those hitting the F5 a bit too often I can only say that P in PMDG stands for Precision not Punctuality... as experience has also shown. Technically speaking, already it has not been published on the 4th of August as people east of Korea will assert you (although they are now well asleep). Ilias Pyette

I am actually quite confident now that they will release at the last moment of Aug.04:)

Pmdg will deliver. It will definitely release on the 4th (in there time zone) which was there set outage date. People in England (like me, where it's raining as per) will need to stay up all night (fine with that (: )
