Well, having just come off my first flight to San Diego, I feel I should share somethings from my trip. I have never, in my life, experienced an addon that made me really feel like I was really flying, but the NGX puts me in the cockpit. I am not sure if it is the lights that actually shade parts of the VC, the audio pack that actually has a sound for every singe event that could ever possible happen, or the fact that my 30+ FPS and great handling allow to fly the aircraft down on to the runway. Forget autopilot, this aircraft likes to be flown. I am not a real NG pilot, but all the knowledge I have ever seen from real pilots, testing systems, or just watching videos, I cannot fault the NGX in anyway. Having flown everything from a 707, all the way to the A340 in FSX, I have never actually forgotten, even for a moment, that I was sitting at my computer, until tonight. I see a bright future for the NGX, and any products of its class. I apologize for anything I said or implied before, as I sit here in shear awe of the aircraft.

Even without having used it yet, it is quite clear from reports, pictures, and videos that this product sets the bar for all other airliner simulations. The downside is that I think it will be difficult to use other airliners I own once I get to use this aircraft, which is quite a large number.

Agreed, I will find it hard to fly other aircraft after seeing what is possible with enough effort.

Amen. This plane is complete. Great sounds great visuals and great flight dyanmics really put you into the seat of the NG

I really do hope that this pushes other developers to go after this level of fidelity.
