August 5, 201114 yr I would appreciate it so very much if PMDG could create some sort of a counter which displays precisely the percentage of how many individuals are sending support requests / reporting problems, against the total number of orders. I am nearly sure that if someone finds the NGX working 100% fine for him, he will be isolating himself from the whole world to enjoy the NGX alone in his room, which means we may not be hearing anything from him until a couple of weeks. If I have this percentage displayed, it might be of a great help that decides initially if the problem is an actual general problem related to the product, or it is related to a certain user because of his system specs for instance. If it is too much trouble to create that counter, it would be very useful as well to display a live counter for the total number of orders, and I should try to count the problem reporters. I just need to decide if I am going to purchase the product right now, or rather wait till the we have the bug fix or the service pack. Thank you so much.
August 5, 201114 yr Either listen to the feedback, view the videos and purchase or don't...I am sorry to sound blunt but are you really asking PMDG to release their sales and support numbers to accommodate you?Come on Islam, that is not realistic... The overall percentage of users experiencing issues is very low as evidenced by the forum being full of one and two off problems opposed to a mass influx of complaints about show stopping issues that were overlooked... Asking RSR to make all of their numbers public so you can make your mind up is a bit much though. RSR, PMDG and the team went to EXTENSIVE lengths to ensure this AC is prime-time ready. In fact many on the beta team mentioned we would have bought it weeks ago but RSR's and PMDG were not satisfied so the testing went on.This AC is ready for the big show on day 1, not after SP1...-Paul Solk Have a Wonderful Day -Paul Solk
August 5, 201114 yr Islam, what would be the point of this? Every software of significant size and complexity that was done from scratch will have a bunch of issues and teething troubles that will eventually get worked out.I for myself will wait until the initial dust has settled a little, and then jump into the NGX. August 5, 201114 yr Author Thanks Paul for the comment. I didn't know it would be so offensive to declare the total number of orders. I do know that the NGX is an A1 product, but you know bugs happen, and will still happen. My own very personal problem is that I suffer really hard time when I start getting through the forum to look for a solution for my problems that appeared right after buying new stuff. Thanks.Nice way Dave to wait and see...
