August 5, 201114 yr I will be installing FSX onto my new computer this weekend - i5 2500k, gtx560TI. Very excited! Even with a higher end system though I'd still like to optimize my .cfg file for the best possible performance. I've applied many tweaks in the past from my old fs9 AMD 1.6 ghz days, and most recently my 2.4 ghz i5 laptop, but I don't remember them and I'm wondering which of those could benefit my new system. Obviously heavy tweaking is unnecessary, but I know there is a way to optimize the core's. I specifically remember downloading a file created by *******(?) that gave my laptop about a 20% increase in performance running FSX. If someone could steer me in the right direction regarding this stuff that would be great. Much appreciated. Cheers,See you all in the lounge CPU: i7-9700KF stable @ 5.0GHz | MOBO: ASUS ROG Maximus XI Hero | GPU: ASUS GTX 1080 Ti @ stock | RAM: G.
