ive bought the NGX and downloaded it, halfway through the installation i got the message that it will determine if your system needs certain microsoft redistributables that are required by PMDG 737NGX. i clicked ok then another message came up saying "The Following Microsoft VS2008 64bit Redistributables file is required for this pmdg product to run on this machine. Please install if prompted" i click ok and nothing happens. The installer is still running because the tab is still open on the bottom of my screen but no page appears on the screen. i never get a message saying installation complete or something. any help? much appreciatedDuco

DucoClicking yes to those pop ups is necessary, so you did the right thing there. You say that the installation is still running because of the tab, can you not open the tab to see what's going on?You aubade done it already but make sure you read the introduction to the product in the PMDG manuals. It's a must read.

Mike,if i click on the tab nothing opens, but ive never received a message saying the installation is complete or anything. and thanks will read up to see if ive missed anything. Thanks for the suggestion!Duco also if i open fsx and click "run" to all the new messages then select the NGX it comes with the activiation code. I put in the 24 digit license code and get "ERROR: unable to connect to activiation server. Please check internet connection and try again." although my internet works fine. then click ok and another message follows saying i dont have the licensed product installed, then FSX shuts down. Dont know if anyone can shed some light on this. If not ill just issue a support ticket. Thanks Duco
