HGS Symbols not showing

Recommended Posts

Hi All After loading the NGX in the default state (with engines on, all ready to go) I tried to have a play with the HGS, but I couldnt see any of the symbols! Do I need to do something extra to turn it on? I read that ryan said a corrupted dll.xml file could cause this. How would I fix this? Thanks Paul

Turn " the light " on, there are buttons at the HGS to set up the brightness

nope, it's not as simple as that. in trusted area in FSX.cfgi have:

F:\FSX\PMDG\DLLs\PMDG_HUD_interface.dll.cnlnzanqhkhrketuzwonhcuncrzobowntkaoozck=1F:\FSX\GAUGES\PMDG_737NGX.DLL.onlccrzierntwhzubuceootrukaeqlbnoluktknn=2F:\FSX\GAUGES\PMDG_737NGX_3.DLL.eknhnzzienbinturnqkhzclbzriiqzaekkkcwlnb=2
and in DLL.XML i have:
<Launch.Addon> <Name>PMDG HUD interface</Name> <Disabled>False</Disabled> <Path>PMDG\DLLs\PMDG_HUD_interface.dll</Path> <DllStartName>module_init</DllStartName> <DllStopName>module_deinit</DllStopName> </Launch.Addon>
there is a missing thing?

That is exactly what I have except the series of letters after your CFG entries are different. I have issues with the HGS as well, some things work and others do not and I'm not sure why. -Todd
