Sorry to bother you again, First flight I was mucking about with the FMC, I checked out the 'About' page, and the scrolling movie thing is genius! To the point.. I was mucking about with the FMC.. and set the startup state to Cold and Dark. Now the question is, how do I put it back to normal? And also, if you wouldn't mind answering, what is NGX Short? and NGX Long? Thanks.

Ross, Just use the CDU delete key to delete the startup state like you would any other line on the CDU.

See page 43 of the Introduction Manual: "To access the FMS based Setup/Configuration menus from a Cold & Dark cockpit, simply press and hold the MENU button on the FMS until the FMS screen comes to life."
