Hey! First of all, even with the extremely high expectations I had (the highest I've had for any game, bar HL EP3), the bird still lived up to them! Good job, PMDG. I'm kind of an audiophile and I'd like to have the most realistic audio, and volume, as possible in the game.Don't worry I'm not gonna ask how to increase the engine sound levels ;) What I'd like to know is, does anyone know the cockpit decibel levels of the real thing on the ground, so that I can calibrate my windows/headset volume to have it realistic. PMDG can have the sounds exactly as the real thing, but in the end its up to the volume of the headset, if you know what I mean. I was thinking of using my iphone to measure the db level of the NGX cockpit (kinda inaccurate and hard) and then increasing or decreasing the volume of the headset to get it sort of right. Maybe someone knows a better way perhaps? :D I also have one extra question, that is entirely unrelated to the sound, but IIRC the NGX was supposed to have sort of a N1% or percent of throttle indicator of the current position of the hardware throttle, so that we could put our throttles in the same position as the ingame throttle is. Makes it easier when disconnecting A/T you know ;) Anyway, job well done on the NGX PMDG!

Bump. Curious to hear from the developers on this one as well. Default was 50% audio in the FMC setup. I'm curious about FSX sound levels and what the audiophiles on the dev team use as well.

Really?! I read the intro front to back. Albeit I read it at 2AM. Thanks! And here I am preaching about reading manualsOn second thought. Yeah I did read that. I'm talking about the FMC settings for audio levels. Thanks anyway.
