August 8, 201114 yr Strange happenings after time acceleration. This is reproducible every time and has occurred on multiple routes.Method:1. Create High altitude flight plan using Flight Sim Commander 9.2. Save as type PMDG flight plan3. Select real world weather3. Import CO route using FMC4. On reaching TOC, accelerate FSX to x4 time acceleration - slight wandering occurs, this can be usual and occurs in other aircraft5. Select Normal acceleration - AC has difficulties staying on track and wanders up to 60 degrees off in ether direction I did notice that wind direction and velocity was very erratic and thought this could be a reason. Selecting static fair weather however did not resolve the problem. I also noticed that disabling weather in FSUIPC appeared to almost eliminate the issue but need to do more tests. Has anyone seen similar problems? System spec:Windows 7 64 bitI5 750 clocked at 3.8 Ghz8 gig memorynvidia GTS 250 "Military Intelligence is a contradiction in terms" Paul Yates
August 8, 201114 yr Author http://forum.avsim.net/topic/339174-pmdg-and-the-s-turns/page__hl__pmdg+aircraft__fromsearch__1Looks like it may be the problem, but it's more extreme in the NGX than any other PMDG aircraft I have.... "Military Intelligence is a contradiction in terms" Paul Yates
August 8, 201114 yr Definitely very similar to problems I had with the 744X. I have yet to encounter this problem with the NGX, but something tells me it's an inevitability. The worst part is it's unpredictability. FSX triangulates winds aloft from stations sometimes hundreds of miles apart, so violent wind shifts could occur whenever. Only happened with the 747 when Real World Weather with updates/ REX RWW was switched on for me though, and sometimes there were periods of weeks at a time when it didn't happen at all. Dylan Jutagir
