I believe there are plenty of nice things to say about the lights on the NGX. Especially the reflections of strobes, beacon and nav-lights are really cool. However I could use another type of strobes, somewhat more flashy and fast-action like the Shockwave Redux strobes I use with my JS41.Please correct me on this; I looked into it and it seems PMDG has coded the lights into the AC model. The aircraft.cfg does not contain the attach point for the lights, besides VC cabin lights. So adding a config will place redux lights on top of the original set of lights...and may look pretty funny. IMO the reflections on the ground surpasses my needs for redux lights by far, so I'll leave it there (Another advantage from embedding lights into the model is you remove the danger of having lights bleeding thru the different aircraft parts (like the wings) when you watch them from the cabin or cockpit.)
