August 10, 201114 yr My computer has sent the blue screen with error 0x124 several times in the past. I have tried decreasing the clock frequency and changing the voltage but the error still happens. Most commonly when Im watching videos on youtube. Also my computer makes a distinct clicking sound at start up and shutdown every single time. August 10, 201114 yr 0x124 is a hardware error. Could be anything so you'll have to follow an elimination processClicking sounds usually come from the hard drives, first thing I would do is a complete backup, just in case
