New PC: start ticket for new activation code already...?

Featured Replies

I purchased the NGX on monday and have big fun with it. AWESOME PLANE!!! Within a week or so (I hope) my completely new PC will arive. Now I read in various topics that I probably won't be able to install the 737NGX on my new system with my current validation code... Should I start a ticket already for a new code? There are a lot of open tickets, so I understand, so maybe by the time my PC arrives, the new code will arive too. Or should or do I have to wait until I actually have my new computer...? Or is it possible I can activate the plane on my new system with the same code, even though ALL the hardware will be different?

I would like an answer to this issue as well. My system crashed after a few days flying the Ngx (probably not the reason for it) and I've ordered a new high end system due on friday.

You can use the CD Key provided twice.I am sure you can put it on two computers as I asked in a ticket and was told you can use it two times only. Hope it helps a little. Andy

Sit at the back! It won't reverse into a mountain!

The key doesn't change even if you move to a new machine, that is always the same. The NGX contacts the validation server and will either activate or it wont, you wont know if you have reached an activation limit until you try. I've installed on two machines (one PC two OS reinstalls) in the time I have had the NGX and I've not had any problems with activation.

Cheers, Andy.

Ok, clear, thanks! I installed once (went well right away), so I'll just see what happens on my new rig!
