Default Aircraft Textures

Featured Replies

Something has gone very wrong with my default FSX aircraft textures. To be honest I don't use them very often but I'd prefer to know what the possible cause could be. I recently installed Horizon Generation X VFR scenery and Ultimate traffic 2 with the latest update. Also installed is REX2 and Ultimate Terrain Europe. Aircraft settings on display options tab is selected to Ultra High.

Global texture setting set to max? It should be. You may have some of your sliders set too high (scenery/AI) and you are 'starving' your system of memory and/or video card memory. Is this happening to any commercial aircraft installed? Best regards,Jim

Thanks Jim, Global texture setting was set to "minimum" actually. I'm not exactly sure what piece of software decided to do that with my settings but I certainly wouldn't do it manually.Anyhow problem solved, thanks.
