December 31, 200322 yr hello! I jsut received FS9 and am very excited! I usually post on airliners.net and they told me to come here!First thing I did was install a whole bunch of AI fleets from PAI.Also, I dnlded this afcad 2 installer program but am not sure what I am to do with it. I tried to download that fsfrance Concorde but I am having trouble installing its guages and flying it, thinking it may be the flight dynamics. How can I remedy this? (the concorde problem?)Also, what exactly is afcad 2?can anone else offer any advice for a newbie who really wants to bring more life into his sim?I have spend countless hours each night trying to add scenery from the avsim library and making the NYC area look alive! I hope to hear from you and learn!THank you, the phoenix
December 31, 200322 yr Author Welcome to FS9 world. Lots to learn, even if you've been flying PC-based sims for a while. Suggest you concentrate on one area at a time. I see you've expanded your AI. Main AFCAD use is for modifying the number of gates at an airport. More gates, more of your PAI aircraft can land and be at gates, but also more load on the fluidity of the simulation. It's not easy to fly the Concorde, so do some research on flying it, plenty of things already posted on this subject. My best advice is to concentrate on flying. Learn the processes involved. Once you're satisfied with what you can do with an airplane in the sim, then worry about the environment the airplane flies in.
