Like most of us, I tinker and tinker and tinker. Dare I say that I think I have finally got it right. I'm not even sure what I have done, but I guess it lies in having a pretty good rig, fast computer, etc. But, these remarks are not meant to discuss hardware, rather the software. Yesterday I downloaded the new Boston and Phoenix freeware airports. Now, I usually do not fly the big airports, but I was curious, especially since I have gotten everything from Project AI working well. Bottom line....both airports were crowded with parked and air traffic. I took two VFR pattern flights at each airport, and got to see loads of aircraft...all with decent frame rates. I was flying, btw, the fabulous aero 560 freeware from Milton Shoup. I'm sorry I don't have any screenshots and I am actually writing this from work, not from home. But, it was such a great experience to see and experience what FS 2004 is capable of giving us. Great fun!ShermHappy New Year, all!
