Titles in Aircraft.cfg are Inconsistent

Featured Replies

Seems a minor thing, but it may cause issues with addons that look at this information. The "PMDG 737-800NGX WL" Title is inconsistent in the 737-800 House Winglets PMDG 737-800NGXtitle=Boeing 737-800NGX PMDG House PMDG 737-800NGX WLtitle=PMDG 737-800NGX PMDG House Winglets PMDG 737-900GXtitle=Boeing 737-900NGX PMDG House PMDG 737-900NGX WLtitle=Boeing 737-900NGX PMDG House Winglets Has already caused a minor issue in one addon --It may be advisable not to create ADDITIONAL aircraft.cfg files with this inconsistency. Was the aircraft.cfg in the PMDG 737-800NGX WL folder updated after the hotfix or not? Regards,Milo Hamilton

That has been the case with almost every PMDG product. The default PMDG liveries delived with the base product typically have 'PMDG' in the title. While addon liveries typically use the aircraft manufacturers name.

As long as they're unique, it doesn't matter what-so-ever. They are never seen in any part of the UI and are usually only used by addons and VAs to help detect what aircraft you are flying.
