August 14, 201114 yr My understanding is that there are specific programs tht allow one to move around in every direction in a 3D cockpit, but they cost money. These are the programs used to prepare the publicity vidos on the PMDG site and on Youtube. HenriI have an old Saitek 290 joystick that I use in addition to my CH yoke, TQ and pedals. It has 6 buttons clustered around the top. I assigned these in the FSX controls menu to the "move eypoint" commands (forward, back, up, down, left and right). Not as good as using TrackIR perhaps, but it does provide a quick and easy way to set my cockpit view just the way I want it.
