Video Card or Monitor problems.

Featured Replies

I run 2 monitors: 27" ASUS LED and Samsung 15". The ASUS is on my ASUS 560Ti video card and the Samsung runs off the iGPU. Since I built the computer I have had problems with a corrupted image on startup and on restart (ASUS LED monitor only), after about 15 seconds to 1 minute the problem goes away and I does not return. Generally intermittent maybe once every 10 starts. The iGPU monitor is fine. I ended up getting an RMA from ASUS and just packed up my video card to send back. In order to still use the computer I hooked up the 27" monitor to the iGPU and guess what, same corruption issue, the Samsung monitor is fine. So I am guessing my video card is just fine and the problem is either the ASUS monitor, or my cables (although I think they are fine). Any guess as to what the issue might be. I tried to take a screenshot of it but every time I try the image comes out perfectly clean. Mark.
