August 17, 201114 yr Sorry if you already commented on this and I missed it but are the liveries that was included with the release of the NGX considered done or do you intend to fix the minor issues found on some of them like mixed up textures, wrong regnr:s etc?Small things that doesn't affect the actual use of the a/c but still it would be nice if they could be addressed or if you at least could let us know if you intend to.Thanks in advance,
August 17, 201114 yr They are releasing updates as needs be. Look in the downloads section on the sight, some say Updated xx August or whenever Di Agron Dell XPS 15 L502X | Intel i5-2540m @ 2.60GHz | 4GB DDR3 1333MHz (2x2GB) | nVidia GT525M | Seagate 500GB 7200RPM | 15" 1366x768 | 23" LG 1360x768 | Got a hardware question? August 17, 201114 yr Author Thanks, I've seen some liveries have been updated and I did re-download the SAS livery I'm using when I noticed there was a new date but the issue I found with the wrong regnr was still present.I guess my main question is when you say issues will be fixed when need be I wonder what PMDG considers as need be. I think it would be great with a pinned post where all issues with the liveries are listed and then PMDG could simply comment on each one of them...this will be fixed now, this will be fixed in a future update or this and that won't be fixed by us at all since it's by us considered too small to be worth fixing. This would be a rather quick thing to do and I think I'm not the only one who would appreciate it just to have some kind of a 'receipt' that any issue you might have found indeed have been noticed by PMDG.
August 17, 201114 yr Author Thanks for replying Vin, I'll check the download section when I get home to find out if there has been any additional updates for the livery I'm using...the SAS Freja Viking livery where I found the regnr in the v/c to be incorrect and fact is which I posted in another thread that the real 'Freja Viking' doesn't even have the regnr in the cockpit...at least not where it is in the PMDG version of her. Thanks for replying Vin, I'll check the download section when I get home to find out if there has been any additional updates for the livery I'm using...the SAS Freja Viking livery where I found the regnr in the v/c to be incorrect and fact is which I posted in another thread that the real 'Freja Viking' doesn't even have the regnr in the cockpit...at least not where it is in the PMDG version of her so best thing would be if the regnr could be removed from the cockpit all together.
August 17, 201114 yr Raised a good point. Maybe the mods should look into having a Livery subforum for requests, issues etc instead of them mixing the NGX, 744x, MD-11 etc support forums. August 20, 201114 yr Author So...back at home again and just downloaded the SAS 'Freja Viking' livery which had been updated the 16'th of August according to the date which made me belive the regnr in the v/c would now correctly read LN-RRH but the regnr is still not correct and must say that was a little bit of a disappointment why this to me very simple thing that has been reported wasn't fixed? What was it with the 'Freja Viking' livery that did get fixed in this latest update and will there be further updates that will change the regnr in the v/c to the correct one?

Not sure how that relates to liveries. But, I'll definitely add it to my list of most worthless thread titles. No offense. Trevor Moore
August 20, 201114 yr Author Well Trevor...it's quite simple really, @PMDG means I was addressing my question to PMDG and the releation between PMDG and the liveries they included in their product is quite obvious don't you think...? Regardless I still haven't received any useful answer but maybe I will eventually although I'm not too sure because I know I'm far from the only one who has pointed out issues with the included liveries without getting any kind of confirmation on what has been reported.

As has been pointed out before, they know about the Alpha channel texture issues. August 20, 201114 yr Author Hi Di The problem I found with the SAS 'Freja Viking' livery is a very simple one, that the regnr in the v/c is incorrect and I reported this shortly after the NGX was released. Since then I belive there has been two updates to this particular livery but the regnr still isn't correct and since the livery has been updated that makes me wonder if PMDG even noticed my report and hence my question/post but as I already said this is in no regard a big issue so I will just continue to hope it will be fixed eventually or maybe someone else with painting skills can fix it once the painkit is released.

I presumed it was the alpha texture issue again. My mistake.
