i think it is the combination of a semi slow gpu and the cpu but i have upgraded the cpu so now i need to upgrade the gpu so i can get a good combination. I know in Flight Simulator a CPU makes all the difference i had a Intel core i7 920 OC to 3.8ghz but then it crashed so i upgraded tot faster cpu but i was watching money. The Cpu that i have now is a AMD Phenom II X4 980 3.7ghz i can get 22fps at KORD FSdreamteam with a pmdg 737ngx which is really good for me but when i come to KJFK with the default scenery it is around 16fps with the same airplane. so i think it is the GPU but the Sandybridge makes all the diffrence but i dont have the money to upgrade again. The Gpu is good but i want something that has more power and better graphics for fsx and that is reasonably priced. If you still want a GPU upgrade, then the GTX 460 1GB seems the most sensible choice at a contained price, but I think you just may be using too demanding settings in your GPU if you didn't see a difference in performance between the I7 and your current X4 since the I7 is far superiorDo you use Inspector?

i am not really sure what ncc is but if you download the this file. i put in some videos showing the fraps of the of 737ngx at kjfk and kord and there is the fsx settings file.http://ifile.it/j1fnh5zremember i am using fraps so u need to add like 2 to 3 framerates and it is a little bit smoother.
