MD 11 Parking Brake release with CH Pro Pedals

Featured Replies

Hi friends,I change my OS system to WIN 7 x64.When I start the MD 11 I set the Brake with STRG+ .,after I push the pedal down and the Lever in the 3 D cockpit is goeing up.Then I give power but the md is not rolling the brake is not release. All the other Aircraft from Fsx are release the brake with CH Pedal. In my old OS System win xp 32 bit I have no error with the CH Pedal. Can anyone help me?.

I would check to see if you have enough null zone on your pedals.

Branton Turner

Hi there in Hamburg.I am working for a company related to Lufthansa Technik in EDDH when i am not in "Elternzeit" and live near Hartenholm EDHM. So, on topic.I sure think, your problem will not what so ever be related to your operating system.Windows 7 64bit isn't accountable for your pedals to release the MD-11th brakes or not.I would suggest you try:1. assign the brakes to keys on your yoke/joystick/switchpanel/keyboard.If they do release then properly, you will want to calibrate your pedals so, the MD-11 will notice a difference in pedal state to release the brakes properly.2. recalibrate the pedals anyway and define a null zone, like Branton suggested before. sometime axis may flicker and the real position isn't changed for the sim to recognize. A hint however is to get a feel for the real movement in your axis by looking at the options window in windows.Systemsteuerung - Geräte und Drucker - your input device (the pedals)There you will find your device and a separate tab that shows you the state of movement in your axis. Then, try to slowly move the pedals and step onto the brakes to SEE what the yreally do, and get a feeling about theri REAL movement and null zone. YOu will be suprised, that the 1 milimeter you thought would be gentle makes the axis jump to 80% or the 1 centimeter you though would be enough does not move the electrical axis at all. If i lack the english to explain it without causing big question marks opn your face, PM me and we discus it in german.
