Scared to post this, but

I'm scared to post this because of the negative post(s) about FSMETEO, but...I'm using v 6.4 with FSUIPC 3.x (I don't remember the 'x' since I'm not home). Whenever the program downloads the global weather, it causes my FS to stutter. Once the weather activates, it's fine. This doesn't happen if I use FS weather.Should I decrease the range that it gets the weather? My system specs:P4 1.6256 MB RAMGeForce FX 5200 128MB DDRThanks.

I am not sure that there is any way around the stuttering when the weather is updating. It isn't that noticable on mine, but its there. I run 1GB of ram, and that seems too really help FS2004 around some of the stuttering issues.

Thanks for the reply. I like FSMeteo, but I'm wondering whether ActiveSkyWXRE will do the same.

I have the same problem with FSmeteo in FS2004. The weather looks great, but when it is updating it makes my sim stutter as well. I am back to FS default weather, hoping this will be fixed. I am running a half gig of ram, with a P4 2 gig system. I wish I could afford more ram!
