August 23, 201114 yr I doubt this is on anyone's radar. Maybe I'm wrong. It seems that the business model of the "successful" flight simulation software company has changed drastically over the last 10 years. If delivering boxed CD versions of the NGX is a priority, perhaps interfacing with a third party vendor makes sense. But with CD versions plummeting in popularity, the traditional reason for outsourcing distribution to an intermediary (i.e., reducing overhead and leveraging distribution channels) is no longer relevant. Why would a software company want to split revenue with a middle man when it can just as easily host a server? Trevor Moore
August 23, 201114 yr I believe it's planned, but not until after the first SP. They don't want people buying the product & then having to go back & install more stuff right off the bat. Kenneth Weir My Saitek yoke mod i7 2600k @ 4.7 8GB Gskill CAS7 2x GTX580 SLI Surround + GT520 Accessory Win7x64
August 23, 201114 yr Personally, I'm waiting for the day when we can all literally "fly in the clouds." By that I mean, cloud based flight simulation. No more CDs. No more downloads. No more activation errors. No more installations (and re-installations). Awesome.
