PMDG MTOW disagree PMDG 737 800 NGX

Featured Replies

Hi All I MTOW in FCOM1 states 70,533 KG for typical 737 800 but the FMS. states 79200 KG, others sources such as Topcat, fuel planners etc indicate up around 78600K funny that the FCOM1 would state 70,533KG might be a typo, thats a big difference

Max allowed gross weight is a Boeing option. We went with heaviest possible option to accommodate the widest possible range of flight scenarios. Check this for instance : http://www.boeing.com/commercial/737family/pf/pf_800tech.html You can also download and check this too : http://www.boeing.com/commercial/airports/acaps/737sec2.pdf (page 13 in the pdf).

Are the more recently released -600 and -700 also based on the heaviest weight options offered by Boeing? There seems to be three different weight options on both variants in the Boeing document you linked.//Olli
