January 8, 200422 yr Has anyone been able to assign both rotaries yet? The game will accept rotary 2 but not rotary1. I get no result when I assign the elevator trim to the #1 rotary. It will work when elevator assigned to #2 rotary. I took a look in the cfg file but got even more confused. There are 3 main joysticks in that file . I have no idea which one to use. I am running CH USB rudder pedals and I also know the DX axis of my rotaries. Anybody done this? Anyone? Beuller?
January 8, 200422 yr Author I rarely use my X45 in FS9, but I have assigned the top rotary to prop control and the bottom one to mixture.
January 8, 200422 yr I ust the same config as Jim for my X45, works without problems. Sorry ;)VOlker :]
January 8, 200422 yr I have that problem with elevator trim too. Same with prop angle assigned to R1 too!
January 8, 200422 yr Yes...I have them both assigned...no problem...The side one is to elevator trim and the top one is to mixture. Make sure you check the sensitivites of the axis. For one of them (I think the one for trim) I had to move the sensitivity up because FS defaults it down to 0 which obviously produces no results. That's probably your problem.
January 8, 200422 yr Ok, thansk guys, I managed to get the elevator over to the #1 axis byt deleting the #2 assignment. I'll keep working on it. But does anyone have an idea why there are 3 joysticks in the cfg file?
January 9, 200422 yr Author I've noticed that sometimes when you plug a USB joystick into a different USB port than the one it was originally configured on, windows or FS sees it as a different joystick, so FS creates a new profile for it.
