Controls & repeat function

Recommended Posts

Im having difficulties with the fsx controls, mainly throttle up, and throttle down. Because I donèt have an actual throttle lever on my gamepad (An xbox 360 controller btw) I have to use buttons or the F2 and F3 keys. I turned the repeat function to the max, but about a half hour into the flight the throttle controls slow down to a snails pace, which is totally unacceptable, expessially when on approch and I need quick percise throttle control. This happens with both the F2 and F3 throttle functions, and the controller button throttle functions. (they are bound together; the same mapping in control options. When I check out the controls section, it says that the repeat function is still turned up to the max, but it doesnt act like it. Ive also tried configuring keys to increase throttle QUICKLY, and decrease throttle QUICKLY, but when I use those, they respond no quicker then just the regular increase throttle thats defualt to F3 I also have a problem with the buttons that trim up and down is bound to.. the repeat IS turned up, but it doesnt work. I still have to press the button a million times to get the proper trim, instead of holding the button down which is what I want. How can I configure these to work properly
